Refund, Return Policy & Delay Penalties

This policy outlines the terms regarding refunds, returns, and delay penalties for interior design services provided by FDC Studios.

1. Overview

At FDC Studios, we are committed to delivering high-quality interior design services. This Refund, Return Policy & Delay Penalties document outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds, product returns, and penalties for delays in service delivery.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed in accordance with the stage of the project at which the cancellation occurs:

  • Before Design Commencement: Full refund of the initial payment, minus any administrative fees.
  • After Design Approval (Before Manufacturing): Refund of the project value minus the design fee and administrative charges incurred.
  • After Manufacturing Begins: No refund can be processed as materials and production costs have been incurred. However, we may offer store credit or alternative solutions on a case-by-case basis.
  • After Installation: No refunds are applicable. Warranty claims will be handled separately as per the Warranty Policy.

3. Return Policy

Returns of manufactured products are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product has a manufacturing defect reported within 7 days of installation.
  • The product delivered does not match the approved design and specifications.
  • Damage caused during installation by our team.

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference after manufacturing.
  • Damage caused by improper use or maintenance after installation.
  • Custom-made or customized products (unless defective).

4. Delay Penalties

FDC Studios is committed to completing projects within the agreed timeline. In the event of a delay caused by us:

  • Delay up to 15 days: No penalty applicable.
  • Delay of 16-30 days: A penalty of 0.5% of the total project value per week of delay.
  • Delay of 31-60 days: A penalty of 1% of the total project value per week of delay.
  • Delay beyond 60 days: The client may be entitled to terminate the agreement and claim a refund as per the refund policy.

Note: Delays caused by client decisions, force majeure events, or third-party vendors are not subject to penalty.

All cancellation requests will be acknowledged within 3 business days and processed as per the terms outlined in this policy.

6. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding refunds, returns, or delay penalties, both parties agree to resolve the matter through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

7. Changes to This Policy

FDC Studios reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Clients are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
