1. Standard Payment Milestones
To ensure a smooth workflow and structured delivery, FDC Studios works with a strict milestone-based payment schedule. The payments are broken down as follows:
- 1. Booking Fee (10% of Estimated Project Value): Paid upon initiating the design contract. This initiates the space measurement, 2D/3D design iterations, and initial material selection.
- 2. Design Approval Milestone (40% of Project Value): Paid upon finalized 3D renders, drawings approval, and final quotation sign-off before manufacturing is initiated.
- 3. Production Completion Milestone (45% of Project Value): Paid when modular units and woodwork manufacturing are completed in our factory, and before dispatch/freight to the client site.
- 4. Handover Milestone (5% of Project Value): Paid upon successful completion of site installation and final project handover.
2. Modes of Payment
We accept payment through the following secure transaction channels:
- Direct Bank Transfers (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS)
- Online Payment Links (Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking)
- UPI Payments (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
- Demand Drafts (DD) and Account Payee Cheques (subject to clearance before milestones)
FDC Studios does not encourage cash payments exceeding government-stipulated thresholds. All payments must be supported by a GST-registered invoice.
3. Late Payment Penalties & Delays
A delay in payment of milestone stages can directly impact the procurement of materials and site timelines. Please note:
- If milestone payments are delayed by more than 7 business days from the date of invoicing, FDC Studios reserves the right to halt site progress and postpone factory dispatch.
- We are not responsible for delays in project delivery timelines arising due to delayed payments by the client.
4. Taxes and Duties
All quotations provided by FDC Studios are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per the statutory rates defined by the Government of India (typically 18% for design services and furniture components). GST will be detailed separately on all milestone bills.
5. Refund on Cancellation
Refunds and cancellations are strictly governed under our Cancellation Policy. Design fees, once approved, are non-refundable since creative design assets have been produced and delivered.
